Spinach and Mozzarella Stuffed Cheese Garlic Bread Buscuit Recipe


For a delightful twist on classic cheese garlic bread, this recipe includes spinach and extra mozzarella cheese for a delicious, cheesy, and nutritious treat. Using pre-made biscuit dough makes it easy and quick!


Ingredients:


- 1 can (16.3 oz) pre-made biscuit dough (like Pillsbury Grands)

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

- 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions:


1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Gently flatten each biscuit into a small circle.

3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and salt.

4. Add the chopped spinach to the garlic butter and stir to combine.

5. Place a small amount of shredded mozzarella cheese and a bit of the spinach mixture in the center of each biscuit circle.

6. Fold the edges of each biscuit up to seal the filling inside, pinching the dough together to create a stuffed ball.

7. Arrange the stuffed biscuits in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a greased baking dish.

8. Brush the tops of the stuffed biscuits with the remaining garlic butter mixture.

9. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the biscuits.

10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

11. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.


Tips:


- If you want to add even more flavor, try incorporating a pinch of dried Italian herbs into the garlic butter mixture.

- For a softer texture, cover the baking dish with foil for the first 10 minutes of baking, then remove it to allow the top to become crispy.

- These stuffed biscuits are best enjoyed warm, right out of the oven!
