What Is a Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup liquid (such as almond milk, coconut water, or fruit juice)

- Toppings: sliced fresh fruits, granola, nuts, seeds, shredded coconut, and drizzles of honey or nut butter


Instructions:


1. Blend the Base: In a blender, combine the frozen fruit, ripe banana, yogurt, and liquid of your choice. Blend until you achieve a thick and smooth consistency. You can adjust the thickness by adding more or less liquid.


2. Pour into a Bowl: Once the smoothie base is ready, pour it into a bowl. The thickness of the smoothie is essential for the toppings to stay on the surface rather than sinking.


3. Top with Goodness: This is where the creativity comes into play. Arrange a variety of toppings on the smoothie surface. Think of it as a canvas, and use a combination of sliced fresh fruits, granola for crunch, nuts for texture, seeds for added nutrition, shredded coconut for sweetness, and drizzles of honey or nut butter for extra flavor.
